Brian Green came off the bench to score a career-high 25 points as No. 25 Utah State defeated host San Jose State 84-65 on Thursday.

Green made 8 of 9 shots and connected on five 3-point baskets as Utah State (19-2, 8-0 Western Athletic) won its 14th straight game.

Adrian Oliver scored 29 points for San Jose State (9-10, 1-7).

Pooh Williams scored 14 points as Utah State won its 22nd consecutive WAC game.

The Aggies, who moved into the national rankings earlier this week for the first time all season, haven’t lost since falling to Georgetown on Dec. 4.

Brockeith Pane scored 13 points and Brady Jardine added 12 for Utah State, who were 9 for 17 from 3-point range.

Keith Shamburger added 13 points for San Jose State, which has lost seven of its last eight games.

The Spartans were without second-leading scorer Justin Graham, who missed the game with an Achilles’ tendon injury.
