Derrick Williams scored 22 points and Arizona took sole possession of second place in the Pac-10 with an 85-74 victory Thursday over visiting UCLA.

After leading 38-33 at halftime, Arizona (17-4, 6-2 Pac-10) took control in the second half when it held UCLA to 36.4 percent from the field and ended the Bruins' four-game winning streak.

MoMo Jones scored 17 points and Kyle Fogg added 14 for the Wildcats. Williams was 7 for 10 from the field.

Arizona led by 18 with 13:05 remaining before the Bruins used a 17-7 run to close the gap. Arizona made 5 of 6 free throws in the final minute to secure the win.

UCLA (13-7, 5-3) was led by Reeves Nelson, who recorded his eighth double-double of the season with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Nelson was limited in practice this week by a sprained left ankle, but looked sharp against the Wildcats with 17 points in the first half. He finished 10 of 12 from the field.

Arizona, which topped the 80-point mark for the ninth time this season, shot 52 percent from the field and improved to 12-0 at home.
