Freshman Jeremy Lamb scored a career-high 24 points as No. 5 Connecticut came from behind to take down Marquette, 76-68, in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Kemba Walker struggled to a season-low 14 points on 5-of-16 shooting but added nine assists for the Huskies (17-2, 5-2 Big East), who have won six straight games.

Walker only had four points on 1-of-8 shooting in first half, but Lamb poured in 12 and Connecticut finished the period on a 22-10 spurt to take a 38-31 lead into the break.

Marquette bounced back in the second half, locking down on defense during a 13-2 run that left the Golden Eagles on top, 56-51, with nine minutes to play. Jimmy Butler scored seven points during the spurt, capping it with a three-point play.

Trailing by five with 7:33 left, the Huskies started their comeback. Lamb made a one-handed runner from the baseline and Shabazz Napier drained a 3-pointer in transition to spark a 13-0 burst over the next 5 ½ minutes as Connecticut took control.

Butler finished with 21 points for Marquette (13-8, 4-4), which has dropped three of four.
