Josh Gasser recorded a triple-double as No. 17 Wisconsin won its third game in a row, routing Northwestern 78-46 Sunday in Evanston, Ill.

Gasser finished with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, and the Badgers (15-4, 5-2 Big Ten) shot 55.4 percent from the field and hit 12 3-pointers.

Tied 14-14, Wisconsin scored 15 of the next 19 points. Mike Bruesewitz had the final seven points of the run, as the Badgers built a 29-18 lead with 8:38 left in the half. The Badgers closed the half with an 11-2 run to take a 45-26 lead into intermission.

Jon Leuer led Wisconsin with 19 points. Keaton Nankivil finished with 16 points, and Jordan Taylor added 14 points for the Badgers.

Luka Mirkovic and John Shurna each scored 13 points to lead Northwestern (13-6, 3-5 Big Ten).

Wisconsin is off until traveling to Penn State on Saturday. Northwestern plays at No. 19 Minnesota on Wednesday, the second of four consecutive games against ranked teams.
