Nathan Walkup poured in 16 points to propel No. 13 Texas A&M to a 71-48 win over Oklahoma State Wednesday night in College Station, TX.

The Aggies (15-1, 2-0 Big 12) posted their 12th consecutive victory, the third longest winning streak in school history and best start for Texas A&M since 1919.

The Cowboys struggled to get open looks against Texas A&M's physical man-to-man defense, managing only 48 points on the evening.

Oklahoma State (13-3, 1-1) looked poised at the start, jumping out to an early 6-0 lead. The Aggies countered immediately with a 17-5 run of their own. David Loubeau scored 10 of his 16 points before the break, helping Texas A&M take a 35-29 advantage into the locker room.

Texas A&M kept Oklahoma State at arms length throughout the second half. The Aggies created separation when Walkup hit his third 3-pointer of the second-half at the 9:30 mark to induce a 19-4 Texas A&M run. Mark Turgeon's unit never looked back.
