Terrence Jones went 9-of-12 from the field for 18 points and added six rebounds as No. 11 Kentucky dominated Coppin State, 91-61, on Tuesday.

Brandon Knight added 17 points and seven assists, and Doron Lamb scored 17 off the bench for the Wildcats, who shot 57 percent in the easy victory.

Kentucky (10-2) dominated the first half defensively, holding the Eagles to 6-of-31 (19 percent) shooting and outrebounding them 26-11. It was 15-2 in the first seven minutes and the Wildcats hit their last four jumpers to take a 40-19 lead into the locker room.

Not much changed after the break, as Coppin State (4-6) watched the deficit grow to 80-42 before John Calipari began clearing his bench.

Kentucky gets its last big test of the pre-conference slate on Friday when it visits in-state rival No. 20 Louisville and former coach Rick Pitino. The Wildcats return home next week for a date with Pennsylvania before opening the SEC at Georgia on Jan. 8.
