Scott Suggs came off the bench to score a season-high 15 points and lead four players in double figures as Washington got back on the winning track Saturday with an easy 80-52 victory over San Francisco.

It was the 22nd straight non-conference home victory for the Huskies.

Washington (7-3), which was coming off a tough 63-62 loss at Texas A&M on Dec. 11, had its best defensive effort of the season, and cruised to a 39-23 halftime lead. The Huskies buried San Francisco with a 12-1 run to start the second half, including the first 10 scored by junior point guard Isaiah Thomas, who finished with 12 points and five assists.

Suggs hit was 6 for 7 from the field and made all three of his 3-point shots. Joining Suggs and Thomas in double figures were Matthew Bryan-Amaning with 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds, and Abdul Gaddy, who had 10 points and a game-high seven assists.

Washington’s 80 points were the fewest in a victory this season. The Huskies entered the game averaging 91.8 points per game, third highest in the nation.

Washington was also third in the NCAA in 3-pointers made per game (10.3) and 3-point field goal percentage (45.4), but made only 6 for 26 from beyond the arc (23.1 percent).

Michael Williams scored a game-high 19 points and Perris Blackwell scored 17 for the Dons (4-6), who shot 38.5 percent from the field.
