Make it 44 in a row, but barely.

Marcus Denmon scored a team-high 21 points, and Missouri eked out an 85-82 overtime victory over Vanderbilt in Columbia, Mo., on Wednesday.

It was the No. 11 Tigers' 44th straight win over a non-conference opponent at Mizzou Arena during Mike Anderson's tenure as coach.

Denmon, the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week, entered the game with a team-high 16.4 points per game.

Fellow starters Michael Dixon, Ricardo Ratliffe and Kim English combined for 41 points for Missouri (7-1).

Ratliffe was the hero. He nailed a clutch free throw with six seconds left in regulation and the Tigers trailing by one. That pushed the game into overtime, where Denmon provided the final three points.

Sophomore John Jenkins finished with a game-high 23 points for Vanderbilt (7-2), which had a five-game winning streak snapped.

The win came 52 years to the day when the Tigers last hosted Vanderbilt, a 78-72 double overtime victory for Missouri.
