Chris Wright scored 21 points to offset a poor shooting effort by Austin Freeman and Jason Clark as No. 14 Georgetown topped visiting Utah State 68-51 Saturday.

Wright converted 6-of-9 shots from the field and 8-of-10 from the line and was the only Hoya in double figures.

Freeman scored just nine points on 4-of-12 shooting and Clark shot 2-of-7 for seven points for Georgetown (8-0), one game after Wright, Freeman and Clark combined for 78 points and 12 3-pointers in a 111-102 overtime win over No. 8 Missouri on Wednesday.

The Hoyas outscored Utah State 35-22 after intermission, held the losers to 39.2 percent shooting and outscored them from the charity stripe by a 20-5 margin in starting 8-0 for the second consecutive season.

Pooh Williams scored nine points to pace Utah State.
