Texas Southern picked up its first victory of the season with a 66-60 comeback victory at Oregon State on Sunday.

Oregon State led 36-32 at the half, but could not hold on and fell to 1-2.

The Tigers outscored the Beavers 34-24 in the second half and limited the Beavers to 9-of-28 shooting over the final 20 minutes.

Aaron Clayborn hit two free throws with 10 seconds left to put Texas southern ahead 64-60. He added two more with a second left to ice the win.

Lawrence Johnson-Danner led Texas Southern with 25 points and was 9-of-15 from the field.

Omari Johnson led the Beavers with 15 points.
