Michigan's Darius Morris and Jordan Morgan could hardly miss, and Gardner-Webb could never catch up.

Morris and Morgan hit a combined 17 of 21 shots and the Wolverines used a big first half to rout the Runnin' Bulldogs, 80-58, on Sunday.

Morris was 8-of-10 from the field, hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 21 points and 10 assists. Morgan added 20 points and was 9-of-11 from the field and added eight rebounds - six offensive - for Michigan (3-0), which has an upcoming road trip that includes games at No. 11 Syracuse on Friday and at Clemson.

Michigan shot 52 percent (33-of-63) from the field and rode its hot shooting to a 41-19 lead at the half. The teams played an even second half, 39-39, but the game was essentially over after the first 20 minutes.

Freshman Tim Hardaway Jr. added 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting for the Wolverines.

Brian McNair was the only player in double figures with 14 points for Gardner-Webb (3-2).
