Marcus Denmon scored 18 points, leading a group of five Missouri players in double figures, as the Tigers pulled away in the second half for a 96-58 victory over North Florida on Saturday.

Missouri (2-0) led by just 41-39 with 18:09 left in the game, but a run of 11 unanswered points stretched the margin to 58-43 by the 12:48 mark. The Tigers erased any lingering doubt by scoring the final 24 points of the contest.

The Ospreys (1-3) shot well during a close first half, hitting 10-of-19 field-goal attempts, but turnovers proved to be their undoing. North Florida gave the ball away 21 times before halftime and had 34 giveaways overall.

Ricardo Ratliffe had 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for Missouri. Kim English added 13 for the Tigers, while Laurence Bowers had 12 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.

Parker Smith and Matt Sauey led the Ospreys with 17 and 14 points, respectively, in defeat.
