Iowa State took advantage of a perfect shooting night from Scott Christopherson, and the Cyclones cruised to a 91-43 victory against in-state rival Drake Wednesday at the Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. The Cyclones improved to 3-0 with the win.

Christopherson was 11-for-11 from the field, including five 3-point field goals. He added four rebounds and three assists to go with his 29 points. Diante Garrett posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists, and teammate Melvin Ejim chipped in 14 points.

In the 170th meeting between the two schools, Iowa State committed just 12 turnovers and grabbed 48 rebounds, with 13 of those coming on offense.

No Drake player scored in double figures. Rayvonte Rice and Kurt Alexander each scored eight points, and Jordan Clarke pulled down eight rebounds.
