Khris Middleton scored 16 points and Texas A&M had four players in double figures in a 86-65 rout of hos Texas A&M Corpus Christi Monday night.

Kourtney Robinson scored 14 points for the Aggies (2-0). B.J. Holmes had 13 points and Naji Hibbert added 12 for Texas A&M, which led 41-22 at halftime. Holmes also had seven assists and seven steals.

Demond Watt led Texas A&M Corpus Christi with 21 points. He made 6 of 13 shots from the field and 9 of 13 from the foul line. Terrence Jones added 16 for the Islanders (1-1).

The Aggies shot well from the field, hitting 31 of 61 shots with Middleton and Robinson making a combined 13 of 18. Hibbert and Holmes hit two 3-pointers apiece.

The Islanders only got off 45 shots from the field, making 21.
