Malcolm Grant had a game-high 23 points, and Durant Scott added 20 for Miami.

Jacksonville took advantage of some horrid foul shooting by the Hurricanes, who shot 16-of-25 from the line. The Dolphins (0-1) had four players in double digits, led by Glen Powell's 18 points. Ayron Hardy and Delwan Graham each added 14 for Jacksonville.
